Police are searching for eight Korean men who allegedly raped a Filpina on the night of Sunday, June 14th.
According to Superintendent Eden Ugale, investigators are coordinating with the South Korean embassy and the local Korean community in Angeles City to help identify the men.
Authorities announced that the 23-year old woman, a native of Bulacan, would file rape charges upon getting receipt of her medical tests.
The victim told investigators that a male Korean friend sent her a text message around 10 PM on Sunday asking her to meet him at a local hotel.
She left the hotel with several other Korean men who took her to a nearby hotel in Barangay Anunas. The woman claimed that the suspects threatened to kill her while they violated her with a bottle of liquor and choked her with a string.
Police said that investigators were trying to obtain CCTV footage from both hotels to help them identify the alleged rapists.
