Hi Harry, I hope that you are well. Sad news: I received this news earlier today from his brother Robert.
I would like to inform you that my brother, Ken Graham, passed away this
morning, 10th January, at the OMA Hospital in Angeles City.
A lot of you have known he has been quite ill lately but it is very sad to
see him go. We expect the funeral to held this Thursday or Friday in Angeles City. I
will be leaving Brisbane for Manila on Tuesday morning."
Regards, Rockin Dave
I am shocked. I visited him on Christmas Eve and he was fully dressed and able to sit up and talk to me though he said he was in pain. I took him a couple of books and left a bit of cash. Please note that at the time he had been held for 2.5 years.
He died in hospital (ONA), imagine how much quicker he would have died if the judge had succeeded in returning him to the horrible conditions of the City Jail (174). The man never had a decent chance to prove his innocence or guilt. He has now joined his wife who passed away not too long before he was arrested after a raid on his bar. He was never convicted of any crime yet he received a death sentence. He fought a long hard battle with the justice system as well as his health. Finally he has the freedom the courts never gave him.
Message from his daughter Kristina:
Hello friends of my Father Ken.
This is probably one of the hardest emails I will ever write.
He has now gone to meet our Great Creator on January 10, at 10.05 am Manila time.
Most of you who knew him very well would know how great of a man he was.
He was the most kind hearted person I ever met and I am not being biaist, you know how he cared for his family and friends so dearly.
I am asking for you to come and see him and pay your last respects to him where he will be buried at Holy Mary Memorial in Angeles City.
In this time I request to notify everyone that knew him of where his remains will lie.
We will be burying him on Friday, 16th January at 9 am.
Iam also pledging help if they can to make sure that we (the children) are able to give him a proper burial, as we want to give him what he deserves. His last hoorah!
Many thanks to the love and care you have shown my father.
“God has you in his arms now Daddy, but I will always have you in my heart”
