Incredible Live Bands Belt Out Rock’n Roll & Blues Music
Fellow man about town and talented harmonica player Daryl Clark gave us an invite to check out his recent gig on a Friday night down at KM 91 Restobar in Mabiga, Mabalacat (10-minutes away without traffic, 20-minutes with traffic from Balibago headed straight down MacArthur Highway past Dau.)
Friday night featured “Arnel and the Bad Boyz,” a collective bunch of guys who mix well together. Pampanga has been known for churning out musicians and this group of guys was no exception. The audience was treated to some long classic rock guitar solos from hits such as “Black Magic Woman” and lyrics from older ballads that everyone could sing along with. These guys managed to turn an ordinary night into something quite fun and entertaining.
If you’ve been in Angeles long enough you’ve probably seen the same few bands play at local venues. For example, up Perimeter Road (Don Juico Avenue), R & B’s band “Divalicious” has been a mainstay for years. For anyone unfamiliar with this venue be sure to check them out one time, it’s worth the hike. Some people enjoy a good local show, for the cost of transport and an additional P200 you get a couple drinks and what is probably one of the best local house bands in town.
Their next show is starting at 6 PM on Sunday, February 21st, also at KM 91. The house fills up by 9 PM and the show lasts until 1 AM so use Google Map to get yourself there.
