A warning to motorcycle riders, cyclists, and pediestrians:
The World Health Organization announced that 1.5 million fatalities yearly are caused by road accidents - with motorcycle riding accidents being the leading cause at 23% of all road traffic deaths worldwide.
In SE Asia and the Pacific region, 33% of all road deaths were due to motorcycle riding, while pedestrians and cyclists accounted for 22%. This is due in part to the lack of safety standards and precautions used by fellow members of the road.
